Touching Earth: A Yoga Retreat for Women

Join Heather Irene Smith on the serene grounds of Laughing Waters for a retreat centered in rejuvenation and reconnection with our natural roots.

We will steep in the poetry of Mary Oliver and soak in Yoga’s ancient wisdom.

We will heal through the transformative practices of asana, pranayama, meditation, and kirtan (musical mantras).

We will reconnect profoundly with Earth’s wisdom, ourselves, and each other.

We will breathe deeply, listen to the sound of roaring streams and waterfalls, swim in pristine waters, and cultivate a deeper connection with the beauty of nature in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Scholarships and Donations-If you cannot attend the retreat, but would like to make a donation (any amount) to help provide scholarships for other women to attend, please Venmo @Heather-Irene.


PLEASE NOTE: This retreat is alcohol and drug free, Please keep cell phones/smart watches off or in your room during classes/community gatherings.

Refund & Cancellation Policy
Refunds offered minus a $300 deposit. After May 1, 2026 refunds will only be granted if your space can be filled with a new participant. Should Heather Irene or Laughing Waters Retreat Center cancel the retreat for any reason, a full refund will be offered.

Final payments due by April 22nd.
